First Impressions

I love this game. I played this on my brother's PS4. These games are the reason to buy a console. I only played the God of War 2 on my PS2. When i started playing this game, it was about 12 am and i did not want to sleep. I kept playing it for 3 hours and then my dad yelled at me. This is a beautiful game. It is very balance between everything from graphics to gameplay and story. There are a lot of games but this one stands out of them all.

Main Protagonist and other characters

Kratos and his son are the main characters. Kratos is the protagonist. Kratos is a badass as always. Kratos is now a dad and has a beard. Kratos is now older and wiser and has control over his anger. His actions are now not based on anger. Although, anger is his power. But now he knows how to use it in a better way. He wants his so to be better than him.
Atreus, Kratos' son. He accompanies Kratos on his journey. He has knowledge of world and its living things. He knows the ancient writing. Atreus learns this from his mother Faye. They met two dwarves Brok and Sindri. They have forged Thor's hammer. Kratos can upgrade his weapons. Mimir, who is wise and knowledgeable, claims to be the smartest human. He also joins the Kraots' journey.
Kratos has a weapon called Leviathan Axe. You can throw it and it returns to you like Thor's hammer in MCU. Kratos also get Blade of Chaos as game story progresses. Atreus have a bow and use it against enemies.  

AI

The game's AI is better and a bit challenging. There are different types of enemies. Every type of enemy has a special weapon and attack. They attack in their own way. Game will not throw enemies at you just to punish you. Levels have enemies with balance number. Not too much or too less enemies. 

Story

  After his clashes with Greek Gods, Kratos lives in Midgard. The game is now set in Norse mythology. The game starts with the death of Atreus mother, Faye. Faye last wish was that to take her ashes to the highest point in the nine realms. 
After that, they are faced by the mysterious man. After, Kratos kill him then, he starts the journey with his son.
They face many challenges and new people during their journey. The game tells us about the Norse mythology.  

Game Design and Gameplay

Game is beautiful and a masterpiece. Game has a unique way of describing things. Game has amazing puzzles. Gameplay is good. Combat is amazing. Kratos has anger meter. By attacking enemies, you can refill your meter. Once, it is filled and by using it. Kratos becomes really angry. 
You can customize the Kratos armor and weapon at Sindri or Brok shop. Kratos also have a skill tree. There are chests. Some are unlocked and some are locked by a puzzle. These chests can provide the rare and legendary items.

Side Activities

There are things to do apart from story. Side missions explain the bits of Norse mythology. Some souls quests are there to do. There are dragon missions where you free them. There are Valkyries missions. You have to defeat them. These are the missions where you can test your skills of boss fighting. Valkyrie missions provide a great loot. This game is amazing.
