Upcoming DC Movies: From Joker to Green Lantern Corps

Ah DC! where are you going? You ruined the Justice League.

Actually, the Warner Brothers ruined it. When Man of Steel came out in 2013, i was like:"So, finally i can see my childhood superheros on big screen". But, they ruined my hopes with BvS and then Justice League. A mess they created. But Wonder Woman gave me hope of a better DC. Gal Gadot is beautiful and very well played the character of Amazonian Princess. Jason Momoa is a great Aquaman. Finally, Shazam is the one in this giant squad that keeping its alive. But, we have to move on now.

I went to a cinema to watch Avengers Endgame because i knew that it would be good. But, i was sceptical about Shazam and didn't went to cinema to watch it. But it turned out to be great.Remember never forget the Nolan's Masterpieces, The Dark Knight Trilogy. Dark Knight is my favorite. Lets talk about the upcoming movies of DC:

• Joker 

Released Date :October 4,2019  

Joaquin Phoenix, i know him from Gladiator. This movie is directed by Todd Phillips. In this movie, there would be no Batman i guess. But there can be boy Bruce Wayne. This movie will serve as the origin story of Batman's nemesis Joker. Joaquin Phoenix's joker is better than the Jared Leto's one.

• Wonder Woman 1984
  Released Date June 5, 2020

                                                                                  Wonder Woman was a great success and a first best female led superhero movie. I am really waiting for this one. Directed by Patty Jenkins in which Kristen Wiig is playing Cheetah. The best thing is that Chris Pine is in it too.  

• Birds of Prey 

    Released Date :February 7, 2020

     

 

     Directed by Cathy Yan in which Harley Quinn, Black       Canary and Huntress will strike against Black Mask. Black Mask is a great Batman Villain. Lets see where it takes us.

• Batman

     Released Date :June 25, 2021

Like we know Robert Pattinson is now playing the Batman. Matt Reeves is directing this movie. He is looking forward to make a Batman trilogy. Rumors are that Catwoman and Penguin will be in that movie. Hope to see a great movie.

• Aquaman 2

    Released Date :December 16, 2022 

James Wan is directing the sequel and there is not much information about this but like the original one,which earned more than $1.14 billion worldwide, this one is also be expected to do the same. We are ready to see Momoa again as Aquaman on the big screen.

• The Flash

     Released Date : Unknown

 

   The Flash is supposed to be released in 2020 and based on the Flashpoint story in which Barry Allen go back in time to save his mom and everything changes. Guess they can change the origin of DCEU. But it seems like its not coming in 2020 or in 2021. Erza Miller said to the fans: 

" Nothing is ever certain in this world, but as certain as things get, we’re making a f****** crazy-dope Flash movie"

• Black Adam 

    Released Date : Unknown

  

     

     In 2014, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was handed the role of Black Adam but the film-makers decided not to inculde Black Adam in Shazam. In April, 2019, Rock confirmed that the production is expected to start in 2020. Black Adam has a great origin story.

• Green Lantern Corps

    Released Date : Unknown

Warner Brothers has not cleared anything about the Green Lantern Corps. The movie was set to release in July 2020, but it is no more on release schedule. Geoff Johns is now attached to write the script for movie from the scratch. He said that he is going to celebrate the mythology and reinvent it in a different way.
