is a first person shooter. It is an action video game. This game is available on PC, PS3 , Xbox 360, MacOS and Wii. It is one the best games ever made. Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare sets some parameters for fps games. It is an excellent game.

First Impressions

The first game i played on my Core 2 Quad rig was Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. It was a great experience for me. I moved from PS2 to PC. Before this, i only played Call of Duty 2 Big Red One on PS2. I enjoyed that game very much but i did not expect the Modern Warfare to be far better than the Big Red One. The menu felling of the game was on another level. The music of the main menu is still great. Now, whenever you hear the name Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. You recall the old great memories. This is a great game overall.

Main Protagonist and other Characters 

You get to play different characters. First, the game starts with Soap MacTavish. You also play as Paul Jackson in Middle East. You also get to play as Captain John Price. You also get to play as a President of a Middle Eastern country. There are other non-playable characters such as Gaz, Kamarov, Nikolai and Lieutenant Vasquez, who led Paul Jackson's team in the Middle East. 
The main antagonist in the game is Imran Zakhaev. He is leader of Russian Ultranationalist party. The game characters are amazing and even Imran Zakhaev is a great villain. 

AI

There is not very much to say about AI of the game. The enemies in the game are a bit intelligent. You can get a real challenge by increasing the difficulty level. At higher difficulty, this game is a real challenge. The characters, which accompany you in your mission, are not annoying and just some waste of time. On the other side, they are very amazing characters. The characters like Captain Price, Nikolai, Gaz and Kamarov are great and interesting. Captain Price is a badass. Soap is great also and a playable character.

Story

The game is set in a chaotic world. In Russia, a civil war is broken between the government and Utlranationalists. Khaled-al-Asad seizes power through coup in a Middle Eastern country and executes the president. Meanwhile, a division of USMC is deployed in Middle East to capture the Al-Asad, led by Lieutenant Vasquez. 
At that time, Soap MacTavish is recruited in SAS. The game gives the tutorial and then the action starts. The SAS team is led by Captain Price and Soap is also in the team. They infiltrate a cargo ship and found a nuclear device. They find some documents written in Arabic. 
The game starts unveiling the things and happenings. The story of this game is lovely. This is a must to play game.

Game Design and Gameplay

Game is designed in a better way. Every hurdle and enemy are at a good place. The game levels are great. Every level has a relation with each other. Gameplay is incredible. The guns and grenades are real deal. There are various guns to go with. Shotguns, Assault Rifles and SMGs depend upon your taste. With which gear you want to go is your choice. 
The character movement is perfect. Variety of guns are there for you. You can pick up weapons dropped by enemies. Well, you don't have to worry about the ammo shortage. You will always find ammo somewhere.

Side Activities 

The game has no special ops mission. Except for one epilogue mission.  You just have story missions to play. You can replay the story missions if you like. Well, there is multiplayer, which is must to play. Multiplayer has some missions through them you earn XP and can unlock new weapons for multiplayer. There are challenges in the multiplayer. By completing them, you get customizable stuff for your weapons. 
Everyone should play this game. It is a masterpiece in First Person Shooters.
